This is a gadget that yes, I do need.  Or at least, I love.

It’s a bean strainer!

Have you ever opened a can of beans and promptly spilled them into the sink while you were attempting to drain them?  I have… many, many times.

Sure, you can keep the lid attached and use that to drain, but using a little gadget is much more fun and it’s worth an extra dish to wash.

This gadget gets some decent use in the kitchen, which I can’t say about all the items stuffed in the gadget drawer.  If you like a nicely drained can of beans, then this one’s for you!

For it’s practicality, ease of use, quick washing ability and for saving lots of beans from falling down the drain, I give this gadget a 4.2 out of 5.  Well done, bean strainer thing.
