What can tongs this small possibly be useful for?

 

You can’t tell from the picture, but these little things take some effort to squish together!

So, what’s the point of these tiny tongs?

To squeeze a tea bag after you take it out of your mug!

Awesome, right? 

Okay, I’ll be honest.  I used this a lot when I first got it, but it got annoying to pull out a spoon anyways to stir in milk or sweetener. 

It would be a better gadget if it were a little longer.  I’ve burned my finger tips a few times by accidentally sticking them in hot tea trying to retrieve the tea bag.  A tea bag doesn’t always float on top!

Overall, the gadget wins points for actually being useful but loses them for 1) making an extra item to wash (booo) and 2) the whole burning fingers problem.

But, I’m biased because tea is one of my favourite things.  I automatically like the gadget because its related to tea.

For that, I yay this gadget and give it a final score of 3.9/5.

I think it’s tea time…
